Next stop Oslo – new connections, new opportunities
Would you like to develop your business in Norway or strengthen your network in the Norwegian market? Then NOFI’s delegation trip to Oslo is the perfect opportunity to meet new people and build valuable connections. During two intensive days you will gain new contacts, valuable market insights and inspiration together with companies, organisations and decision-makers from both Finland and Norway.
The delegation trip is aimed at companies that are already active in Norway or are planning to establish themselves in the Norwegian market. Together, we will build networks, exchange experiences and learn about the latest developments in some of Norway’s most important future-oriented industries.
During the trip, we will visit the Embassy of Finland in Oslo, where we will meet Finland’s new Ambassador, Tanja Jääskeläinen, as well as organisations that support companies looking to establish and develop business in Norway, including Innovasjon Norge and our sister association, NFH. We will also hear from Kesko, Hentec and Taiga about their experiences of establishing and developing operations in the Norwegian market.
On Wednesday afternoon, the programme continues with visits to Norsk Industri and the Norwegian Shipowners’ Association (Norges Rederiforbund). Here, we will explore current topics including the green transition, zero-emission shipping, digitalisation and the future of industry.
Thursday begins with a breakfast seminar hosted by DNV (Det Norske Veritas), focusing on Norwegian perspectives on technology, energy and the green transition. The program continues with lunch and Food for Talk, and concludes with a final company visit in the afternoon.
The programme will be complemented with additional company visits and networking opportunities as they are confirmed. There will also be time for your own customer meetings or to explore Oslo. Why not combine the delegation trip with a business trip or extend your stay by a few extra days?
